Here’s a complete set of Zodiac-themed matchbooks created by the Ohio Match Company in 1969. Bursting with color and unusually thick black outlines, they echo some of the popular work of the era, like that of Peter Max and Push Pin, yet they stand out as a uniquely original take on Nouveau-inspired psychedelia. Sadly, no designer or illustrator is credited, but I’d love to know who created this fantastic series. Ohio Match Co., 1969
