Jane Teiko Oka matchboxes ☜ 

I’m thrilled to have finally pieced together a near-complete set of these wonderful matches designed by Jane Teiko Oka. I’ve taken to calling this style “hippie-pop,” blending folk charm and a rustic, batik-like sensibility with bold pop iconography. Jane is probably best known for her Zodiac poster series for Portal Publications. Since I can’t quite afford a full set of those, I’ll content myself with these matches for now.
