Part of Strathmore’s Paper Is Part of the Picture series of paper samples, this piece was designed by Push Pin Studios. It’s undated, but I’d place it in the early 1970s. As is often the case with paper sample booklets, these scans don’t fully capture the textures, die-cuts, or more elaborate tipped-in elements.

Strathmore and their contemporaries in the paper world produced a lot of spectacular sample booklets during this era. If anyone viewing this has examples they’d be willing to sell or trade, I’d love to add them to my collection and feature them here. Please get in touch. Contact.
