Damn Everything But The Circus ☜

One of my all-time favorite pieces! This unruly circus alphabet print set is from a slipcased edition of Damn Everything But the Circus by Sister Corita Kent, published in 1970. Kent raids the visual vocabulary of old circus bills and Victorian advertising, then throws it all together in wonderfully layered collages along with fluorescent Day-Glo inks and oversized wood type.
