After a bit of a hiatus, I finally dusted off the scanner this afternoon. This book surfaced at the top of my pile randomly but fortuitously, as it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything by Naiad Einsel, one of my favorite illustrators. Alongside her delightful artwork, I love the simple but effective use of a different display typeface on each page, the oh-so-mid-century pink-and-gold color palette, and the various borders framing each illustration.
